Our Mission

To ensure that all individuals with a menstrual cycle have access to essential hygiene products, regardless of their financial standing.

The Pink Tax

The pink tax leads to price hikes for products marketed towards women, that's right.. essentials items like pads, tampons etc. It affects all individuals with a menstrual cycle, resulting in higher costs for our hygiene products compared to men.

In 2023, the global feminine hygiene products market was valued at USD 41.29 billion and is projected to reach USD 62.66 billion by 2030

Homelessness

Some rely on shelters which can only provide a limited amount of menstrual products. Others may resort to improvising, using rags, toilet paper, or even newspaper, all of which are unsanitary and puts them at risk for UTI'S, Toxic Shock Syndrome and yeast infections.

What we aim to achieve

A percentage of our proceeds from every box purchased will go towards a nonprofit organization targeting these undervalued and underrepresented groups. In addition to financial support, we will also donate feminine hygiene products to these communities.

Together, we can put an end to Period Poverty.

Incarcerated women

There are over 200,000 women incarcerated. Women receive 12 free pads a month but cannot possess more than 24 without permission. They do not receive free tampons so they must ration their supplies and work for several days to afford them. Upon leaving the prison system, they are left to fend for themselves.

LGBTQAI+

Trans men may experience discomfort when buying menstrual products for several reasons. Buying these products can bring attention to their gender identity, potentially leading to dysphoria or discomfort with their body. Navigating public spaces and interacting with cashiers or other customers may cause anxiety or fear of judgment, safety and discrimination.
